Mix all marinade ingredients. Set the steak or chicken breast in the marinade and let it sit at least an hour or overnight for better taste.
In a pan or griddle, add a teaspoon of olive oil, then add the steak, grill steak on each side till desired doneness. Remove from pan and let sit for 5 minutes.
Reduce the pan heat to medium high. Add a little more oil to the pan if necessary. Add the onions, bell peppers. Cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes, until the onions are slightly translucent.
Slice steak into thin slices and serve immediately with shredded swiss or cheddar cheese, sour cream & guacamole and warm flour tortillas.
Chicken or beef Fajita Marinade
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- salt to taste
prepare the marinade, stir together, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cilantro, cumin, and salt; mix well. Then pour on chicken until chicken is well coated. Marinate for 1 to 3 hours or overnight placed in refrigerator.
Do the same steps of grilling the chicken breast and vegetables, cut chicken breasts in slices, place in tortilla bread with shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, tomato cubes,
pico de gallo
and guacamole.
